An exciting opportunity to be a part of an award-winning, innovative, International company, working on boutique store designs for the China and APAC region. This Senior Designer, Concept Design role is for a candidate with proven design leadership and mentorship across a large headcount of multicultural designers. You will report directly to the Head of Design. Your responsibilities include leading/managing design initiative projects, design guidance and direction, knowledge of regional design trends, and design team support across the APAC region. In-depth knowledge of project management, retail / F&B or hospitality design, and construction documentation is preferred. Candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate design direction to subordinates, in order for them to carry out concepts to execution stage.

Experience summary:

- 8 - 10 years of solid design experience in the interior or architecture design field, specifically in hospitality, retail, or restaurant design.
- 5 years experience with design team management in a graphic design environment.
- 4 years experience working with construction documentation.
- 3 years experience in project management and leading large-scale design projects.
- Degree or diploma in design from a recognised institution.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Requirements:

- Impeccable communication skills, both orally and written.
- Ability to manage and lead a large multicultural design team.
- Work efficiently and stick to deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to change and to keep up with fast-paced environment.
- Direct experience managing a design team.
- Skilled in AutoCAD or Revit.
- Experience working in the APAC Region, and ability to understand the specific project environment and culture.
