We have a growing workload in the hospitality and leisure sectors with particular emphasis on hotels and leisure accommodation. The successful candidate / s will work well in a team and where applicable, be proficient & confident in job running, client & contractor contact and will have the following skills and experience:

- At least 5 years UK industry experience, ideally within the hospitality / leisure sectors.
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel essential, Sketchup and Photoshop advantageous.
- Excellent design & technical skills and standards of presentation.
- Good understanding of construction methods and materials, especially new build & timber frame construction.
- Hours: Full time.

CVL Consultants is seeking a talented and team oriented individual for a position within our firm. The position will include drafting and entry level design responsibilities within our Landscape Architecture Department, but may also include support for our Planning Department. The successful candidates will be assisting our team in the preparation of site analysis and field inventory documents, conceptual design exhibits, and construction drawings.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate would be required to have the following qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program. (Strong candidates with a Horticulture or Planning degree may be considered).
- Proficiency in Autocad 2014 or later.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Entry level design candidates would be expected to have 1 year experience in a professional design firm.

Additionally, the following skills would be preferred, but not required:

- Professional experience working with LandFX, Civil 3D, Revit, 3D Studio Max, or Sketchup.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
