ECD (Energy Conscious Design) Architects are seeking a Senior Architect to join their London office. This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding team, helping to shape the future of the company. The successful candidate will be an experienced and talented architect with proven project, people and management skills.

ECD have been at the forefront of sustainable design for over 30 years and have a strong portfolio of new build and retrofit work primarily in the education and residential sectors. We are part of a multi-disciplinary group with offices in London and Glasgow.

In the last 6 months ECD have secured some fantastic projects in the Commercial and Housing sector working with major Clients with projects ranging from £6 to over £20m.

We’re now looking for a new member to join our team. But you’ll need to be someone special, someone with the unique blend of skills that has helped our current team deliver high quality projects time after time.

Here’s a rough outline of some of our basic requirements: Senior Architect ten years plus experience post-part 3 experience (or equivalent) with the ability to manage teams and run a significant project or projects exceptional design and organisational skills proven experience of delivering completed, high quality, complex projects in the UK demonstrable experience of using Revit on live projects will be preferable. Candidates must demonstrate experience in specification writing, having been the primary specification writer for a minimum of five projects sized over $5 million in construction value. Candidates must also have experience coordinating specification efforts within a design team, with consulting engineers, and with the client.
