Qualifications include:

- Professional degree in Architecture.
- An ability to understand and develop architectural ideas, independently and collaboratively.
- Design minded individual interested in advancing project design.
- An aptitude for craft, merging the art and science of design with elegance.
- Strong technical competency.
- Skill in sustainable and high-performance design with real results.
- Thorough understanding of construction documents.
- Extraordinary graphic and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership interest and potential.
- Proficient in Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
- Educational Architecture experience a plus.
- Architectural Engineering experience a plus – energy, light, hydrothermal, and other modeling.
- Architectural license a plus.

Heritage Architecture is a busy architectural practice looking to recruit a talented designer to join our creative team based near Woking in Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing practice specialising in a variety of predominantly private residential projects in Surrey and the West of London area. Heritage is known for its quality design projects in urban and rural environments in both traditional and contemporary styles.

The right candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working within the UK residential sector and be able to demonstrate a strong understandingof Building Regulations and the Planning process. A short AutoCAD demonstration will be required at interview stage.

It is essential you are and have:

- Strong AutoCAD 2D drawing skills.
- Experience of Revit would be advantageous.
- Self initiated with design flair.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A car driver.
