Richard McElhiney AIA founded the firm in 2002. Our focus is new construction, renovation, and adaptive re-use projects for Educational, Civic, Commercial, and Residential clients. Our objective is the creation of projects which are clear in concept and detail, which serve their users well, which are well-made and which are realized with an economy of means. We are seeks med-level architect with at least 10-15 years' experience. Our work includes educational, public, commercial, and residential projects. The ideal candidates will have strong design and graphic skills, will be technically knowledgeable, and will be highly proficient with AutoCAD. Skill in other 2D and 3D software a plus.

Arquitectonica is a design-focused architecture, interior design and planning firm that began in Miami in 1997 as an experimental studio. Led by Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear, the studio has evolved into a worldwide practice, combining the creative spirit of the principals with the efficiency of delivery and reliability of a major architectural firm.

This position is specifically for the New York office.

Full-time positions are available for work on several projects in the US and Canada. Projects will range in variety from high-rise residential, to large scale mixed-use developments and master planning. Successful candidates will work on several projects at once starting in the Schematic Design phase and ideally will continue on through the Construction Documents phase. Responsibilities include project design production, assisting in maintaining BIM files, folder and protocol already established as well as assisting those junior staff members in the office with their Revit proficiency. Long-term opportunities for the candidate will be tailored to their capabilities/interests.

Position requirements include:

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- No relocation necessary.
- 7-10yrs post-grad experience.
- High technical proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
