The Lawrence Group is a national architecture firm with offices in 4 US cities, with a total staff of about 150 people. The New York Office is seeking candidates for an intermediate architect position starting immediately. The office is a boutique design office with around 12 architects and designers.

Project involvement may include working on national retail design and roll-out, hospitality work or other building renovations in Manhattan and across the country.

Candidate qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 5-8 years professional experience in an architectural office.
- Excellent design and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent digital presentation skills, preferably including Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of construction materials, details, methods and standard building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is a minimum requirement; the firm has fully implemented Revit on all new projects.

Auckland Castle Trust and Purcell wish to appoint an Architect with exceptional design skills to design a new restaurant within the walls of Auckland castle.

In line with the ethos of the Trust to regenerate through Heritage it has been decided that the design of the new restaurant will be carried out by a newly qualified Architect local to the North East of England with the intent that this becomes a defining building in their career.

The Architect will be based in and supported by Purcell’s office in York but will be expected to spend part of each week in Bishop Auckland.
