We are a small design / build architecture and interior design firm based in Manhattan that focuses on unique residential projects, ranging from private residences, lofts and townhouse to large scale development work. We are looking for someone who has five years experience working on similar types of projects. Much of our NYC work focuses on interiors and finishes and so we are looking for an architect that loves the details. You should be excited about finishes, details, materiality, construction and understand how things go together. You should have project management experience and the ability to manage junior architects and designers. We have a diverse and collaborative office environment and are looking for someone that can join our team.

Other qualifications, skills and notes:

- AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelors degree required and Masters degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years of relevant office experience required. No students or pending graduates please.
- Must be a motivated self starter, organized and have excellent communication and project management skills.
- Knowledge of the NYC building code and applicable ADA laws. Should have a competent knowledge of HVAC systems, sprinkler design, lighting and electrical design.
- Office hours are 9am to 6pm, but please expect an occasional late evening or early morning to help prepare for presentations.
- Salary will be commensurate with level of experience.
- This is a full time position.
