The Senior Project Architect position will be an active team member in the architectural design, production and administrative components of Mixed Use, Multifamily, Higher Education, K-12, Resort Hospitality, Parks and Recreation, and Healthcare projects, working collaboratively with team/studio members, consultants and clients. SGA Architecture is a highly collaborative practice that integrates the disciplines of Architecture, Land Planning, Landscape Architecture and Interior Design.

Job responsibilities:

- Lead / assists a project team in development of the aesthetic and technical design and production of architectural design and construction documents including drawings and specifications.
- Develops, checks and coordinates technical aspects of the design of a project.
- Leads in organizing the production efforts of the projects.
- Coordinates the work of Consultants.
- Meets with client throughout design process.
- Supervises, organizes and mentors assigned staff.
- Plans and develops projects of medium to large scope and works under minimal supervision.
- May oversee architects, interior designers and other consultants.
- Responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments.
- Plans and develops architectural projects that impact company programs and that include development of novel concepts and methods.

The successful candidate will possess 10+ years of current experience in design, production and construction. Candidate should be a registered architect. Candidate MUST possess strong graphic and computer skills; high proficiency in AutoCAD. Revit experience a plus.

Rafael Viñoly Architects is searching for a Senior Architect with experience in large residential tower and hospitality projects. Applicants must demonstrate 10+ years of previous experience in high-rise residential/office design and construction and have a strong knowledge of both Rhino and Revit. Past experience with coordination and technical detailing, including both core and shell as well as interior fit-out is required.
