IMC Architecture is an intimate start-up architectural firm looking for talented individuals to help grow its practice. Our work includes ground up and renovation of medium to large scale multi-family residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities will include site surveys, production of design development and construction documents, site meetings, and working directly with project managers and the architect. Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable and able to manage all aspects of a project.

Candidate qualifications:

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 3-5 years professional experience in an architectural office.
- Be familiar with NYC codes and zoning.
- Proven experience in project management (experience in detail & design development, construction documents, construction administration, a plus).
- Knowledge of construction materials, details, methods and standard building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must and Revit is a plus.

Requirements:

- 2-5 years experience.
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Architecture.
- Experience in construction documents.
- Experience in a variety of projects and with all phases of design and construction.
- Strong design and graphic skills.
- Working knowledge of VectorWorks preferred.
- Proficiency w/ 3D modeling software such as sketchup or others is desired.
- Adobe software and other presentation software skills a plus.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Interest in sustainability.
- Professional work ethic essential.
