Lower East Side architecture and development firm seeking a Project Architect for prominent projects. Projects underway include historic restoration, residential renovation, commercial renovation, hotel conversion, and a large-scale urban development project.

The candidate must have at least 5 years of relevant experience as a Project Architect, advanced knowledge of building construction, construction documents & detailing. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications include:

- Knowledge of NYC building codes, A.D.A laws, and construction standards.
- Ability to manage all aspects of project coordination with consultants.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong AutoCAD + graphics skills.
- Must be based in NYC.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

- A minimum of 5 + years of interior design experience.
- Strong conceptual and design skills.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines.
- A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working.
- Ability to produce detailed ID’s and CD’s.
- FF&E/orders experience and knowledge of brands, fabrics and materials.
- Advance knowledge of Autocad, Photoshop, Indesign and Sketch up essential.
- Bilingual beneficial.
