(fer) studio, an award winning architect and design studio located in Inglewood, California, has an immediate opening for a qualified project architect candidate with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience directing, coordinating and overseeing production of projects from Design, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration (7-10 years of experience overall). Primary responsibilities of the Project Architect will be to oversee assigned projects through their various phases, supervising support staff, communication and coordination with clients and outside consultants, review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, while monitoring budgets, schedules, and the maintenance of project documentation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Architecture or higher from an accredited institution.
- Minimum Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience directing, coordinating & overseeing projects.
- Practical knowledge a MUST in the use of Rhino; Revit; AutoCAD; Adobe CS6.
- Working knowledge in the use of Sketchup; 3D Max.
- Should be knowledgeable and have experience with architecture sets / plans.
- Experience working with outside consultants and clients.
- Excellent coordination, supervisory and follow-up skills.
- Proficient with MS Office 2010 Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
