DBA Body Lawson Associates (BLA) is looking to hire a skilled and passionate Architectural Designer with at least two years of experience in commercial and residential architectural design. This is a full-time position for a local candidate. Body Lawson Associates provides architectural planning, urban design, historic preservation and interior design services, locally, nationwide and internationally. Since 1993, BLA has successfully completed projects for multi-family housing, educational institutions and religious building. Additionally, the firm has an excellent resume of corporate space planning and urban design.

Responsibilities:

- Manage communication with clients, subcontractors and consultants.
- Assist with the production of schematic, design development and construction documents.
- Construction Management skills.

Qualifications:

- Fluent in English both oral and written proficiency is required.
- Minimum of two years of professional design drawing experience in an architectural firm.
- Highly proficient in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and 3D Modeling.
- Leed certification is nice but not necessary.
- Ability to grow with the firm.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-directed.
- Must have experience preparing design presentations.
