Job Captain/Project Architect with 3-10 years experience working collaboratively on a wide range of religious, educational, and senior living projects, including long range master planning, conceptual design, and full architectural and interior design services for new buildings, renovations, additions, and adaptive re-use projects. JNKA's office is located in the FM Global Building (with work-out room and full-service cafeteria) in beautiful downtown Park Ridge, and is in walking distance to many restaurants, public transportation (including two Metra stops) and Chicago's popular Edison Park neighborhood. New projects include a long range master plan for a Catholic cathedral parish in the Midwest, a large addition to a private girls' high school, an administrative office wing addition to local parish, two new chapel projects, a multi-purpose gymnasium addition, and a variety of senior living projects.

- Professional Degree in Architecture.
- 3-10 years of experience working in an architecture firm on commercial, institutional, and/or multi-family residential projects (Senior Living experience preferred but not required).
- AutoCAD (Architectural Desktop preferred but not required), Sketchup.
- Also good: Revit, ArchiOffice (JNKA transitioning to both), hand drawing/sketching/rendering skills.

Detail oriented with knowledge, experience and interest in working in all phases of projects (on-site construction admin experience preferred but not required).

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with ability and experience working collaboratively with internal team, engineering consultants, and clients/building committees.

Architectural license and LEED accreditation preferred.

Knowledge and experience with traditional design preferred.

Access to car for local travel to meetings/job sites.

Some out of town travel may be required.

We are looking for a hands-on, passionate graphic designer with 3-5 years of professional experience and a sophisticated modern design style, to join our creative team.

Responsibilities would include:

- Prepare image mood boards to illustrate a brand identity story.
- Design logos and explore accompanying color palette and font options.
- Create environmental graphics and signage.
- Design websites and prepare website files for web programmer.
- Design print and digital advertisements.
- Design beautiful folders, sleeves or other packaging items to hold printed marketing materials.
- Create layouts for variety of print marketing materials, such as brochures, books and stationery collateral.
- Prepare mock-ups of brochures and books.
- Create print ready files and communicate with print companies.
- Experience in design for hotels/residences/luxury is a plus.

Requirements:

Suitable candidates would be meticulous, work well under pressure and excellent with tight deadlines. Experience in similar role is a must. If you have some experience working in architecture or are good with photography that would be a great advantage.

Software Requirements: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint and/or Keynote a plus.
