Entry-Level Junior Architect
15/10/2016Small midtown office seeking an entry level Junior Architect with strong 3D rendering skills to work on a diverse range of projects including, residential, commercial, and hospitality.
Skills:
- Professional Architecture degree from an accredited school (B.Arch minimum).
- 2 – 3 years professional experience in US.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and rendering software such as Rhino/V-Ray/Maxwell, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCad; knowledge of MicroStation is desirable.
- Familiarity w/ construction document detailing and materials.
- Self-motivated, energetic, able to work on multiple projects independently and within a team and able to manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of NYC Building Code, Energy Code and Zoning regulations a plus.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
Responsibilities:
- Field survey and input into CAD existing site conditions.
- Assist in the development of Construction Documents Preparation of Schematic Drawings based on Client's program.
- Creation of 3D models and renderings within site context for presentations.
- Research and specification of products and finish materials.
- Coordination with design team including external consultants.
Salary is based on skill level and experience. A benefits package is also offered.
Applicants should currently reside in and be legally authorized to work in the US without need for employee sponsorship.
