Qualifications:

- A professional architecture degree (5yrs B.Arch and/or M.Arch).
- Excellent organizational communication skills (written, verbal and visual).
- NYC experience preferred.
- AutoCAD + Rhino + Adobe Suite must.
- Proficiency in realizing your vision into a built object.
- Proficiency in construction documentation and detailing.
- Experience with technical detailing along with the capability of researching materials, fixtures, and appliances, etc. and filing out architectural schedules.
- Self-starting, motivated, intellectual, smart, active, and confident (but not too confident) people.
- Get things done in a very competitive manner and want always more.
- Maturity and motivation to grow.

NDKazalas Architecture P.C is a small, fast growing architecture firm, headquartered in the Astoria/Long Island CIty area of Queens. We are in search to fill a Junior to Mid Level Architect position to work closely with the principal and firm leaders on vast majority of exciting projects, ranging from new multi-family residential buildings to high end apartment renovations.

The ideal candidate will most importantly be energetic with a thirst to advance their knowledge of the craft and have a desire to grow with a firm. We are willing and enthusiastic educators and enjoy sharing our knowledge of design principles, construction methodology and techniques with young, like minded individuals. Other basic requirements are as follows:

- B.Arch or M.Arch. (B. Arch required).
- 2 to 3 years post graduate working experience.
- Strong design sensibilities.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Rhino, Sketch up.
- Knowledge of NYC/State Building Codes and Zoning Ordinances.
