Workshop/APD is a design firm specializing in both luxury home design and high-end commercial development. We actively leverage our experience to solve design challenges with innovative solutions that incorporate modern ideals/methods toward a signature aesthetic. We are currently seeking a full-time Intermediate Designer / Architect with 3-5 years’ experience.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

- Design and management of residential projects (with luxury single family and multifamily experience).
- Design and management of hospitality projects (with hotel and restaurant experience).
- Involvement in all phases of design/documentation.
- Computer modeling and rendering.
- Construction document preparation.
- Contract administration.

Applicants should have previous high-end residential and/or hospitality experience and demonstrate proficient knowledge of multi-family projects. Candidates should also demonstrate high level digital modeling and rendering abilities and competent use of all architectural design programs.

Qualifications:

- Professional Degree (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Minimum of 3 years high-end architectural design experience (should be able to showcase finished/built work).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2008 or higher) and all Adobe programs.
- 3-D Modeling and Renderings skills in: Studio Max, V-Ray, or Rhino.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Highly developed communication skills, specifically with senior management, clients, and consultants.
- Highly organized.

Rexrode Chirigos Architects is a boutique architectural firm specializing in the design of commercial art galleries and high-end residences. We value considered design responses that meet the needs of each client and project individually. Sensitivity to proportion and light, clarity of circulation, and deft detailing are features of our work. We are seeking a full-time architect with 3-5 years of experience to join our office. The ideal candidate will work closely with principals on multiple projects on all project phases from conceptual design through construction.

Requirements:

- Professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite required; 3d modeling and rendering abilities are a plus.
- Experience with construction documentation and familiarity with the NYC DOB permitting process.
- Good communication skills.
- Well-organized, nimble, and able to prioritize.
- Candidates must be a US citizen or hold a US work visa.
