Intermediate Architect
20/08/2016Arquitectonica is a design focused architecture, interior design and planning firm that began in Miami in 1977 as an experimental studio. Led by Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear, the studio has evolved into a worldwide practice combining the creative spirit of the principals with the efficiency of delivery and reliability of a major architectural firm. This position is specifically for the New York office.
Full time positions are available for work on several projects in the US and Canada. Projects will range in variety from high-rise residential, to large scale mixed-use developments and master planning. Successful candidates will work on several projects at once starting in the Concept Design phase and ideally will continue on through the Construction Administration phase. Responsibilities include project design production, assisting in maintaining BIM files, folders and protocol already established as well as assisting those junior staff members in the office with their Revit proficiency. Long-term opportunities for the candidate will be tailored to their capabilities/interests. Position requirements include:
- Fluent in English; both written and spoken.
- No relocation/ability to work in the US.
- 5-10yrs post-grad experience.
- High technical proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.
Compensation will be suited to experience and capabilities. Arquitectonica offers competitive salaries, benefits, and 401k contributions.
