Ideal candidates will have extensive experience programming, planning and designing higher education and / or science facilities. This individual will serve a strategic role and be expected to contribute to the development of client relationships and project opportunities including participation at industry networking events and conferences.

- 4+ years experience in contemporary high-end work, both offices and residential.
- Experience with public & academic work a plus – both new construction & renovation.
- Professional license and Leed accreditation preferred.
- Experience with high-end detailing, materials & systems.
- Some experience in technical detailing & construction administration.
- Familiarity with codes & regulatory agencies.
- Ability to work effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with project scheduling, consultant coordination & managing a project team.
- Knowledge of quality control and drawing standards.

Candidate must have:

- Excellent design skills and freehand drawing.
- Strong interest in materials and details.
- Excellent AutoCAD & Rhino skills – Revit a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Very good written and verbal communications skills.
- Aptitude for mentoring young designers.
- Strong inclination toward teamwork with an outgoing nature.
