DMWR Architects’ London office is looking for an experienced Project Architect with Residential experience. The candidate will be Revit proficient and have over five years’ UK based post qualification experience, working across all Riba stages, managing clients and project running. They will need to demonstrate strong design skills and have proven experience in leading residential schemes up to planning stage. The workload will predominantly be at Feasibility to Planning Stages and will involve unlocking the potential of difficult urban sites.

- Talented residential designer, with experience in working on Residential schemes of varying scales including Residential led mixed used schemes.
- Have the capability and drive to work autonomously, taking responsibility of own workload and taking ownership of projects.
- Good leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team.
- Excellent understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulations.
- Robust knowledge of London Residential Standards (London Plan, Lifetime Homes).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of project management and administration.

We specialize in international retail design and high-end residential projects. Staff members work closely with senior staff and principles on each project from schematic design through construction administration. Significant responsibility is available for hard working and talented designers who are ready to learn.

Skills & experience required:

- BArch or MArch required.
- Prior internship experience in an architectural office required, at least one semester at a minimum.
- Ability to produce a complete set of construction documents.
- AutoCAD drafting experience mandatory.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience mandatory.
- Ability to handle fast-paced projects and deadlines.
- Strong and clear communication skills a must.
- Basic understanding of construction means and methods.
- Capability of learning quickly on the job.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisor.

Additional skills:

- Rhino proficiency preferred.
- Alternative 3D application experience.
- Revit modeling and construction documents.
