Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects New York (PCPANY) is a 25-person firm that specializes in large scale highly visible and sophisticated buildings. Every design project we undertake is unique, with our process adapted to the particulars of each client and the specifics of each project.

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Designer to join our New York office that has experience in commercial, residential, and institutional projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive with a desire to work in a collaborative team environment to generate creative design solutions.

Responsibilities include:

- Collaborating in a design team, developing design concepts, producing drawings and 3D images during all project phases.
- Communicate and coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements.
- Incorporating integrated sustainable design solutions into projects.

Specific requirements:

- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in an architecture office.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Office Suite, Adobe Suite, 3D Max.
- Fluency in Grasshopper preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
- Strong design skills.
- Good knowledge of large scale contemporary corporate office, residential and institutional projects.
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Our client is a leading design firm based in Chelsea, Manhattan. They specialize in hotel projects in the Tri-State area, both renovation and ground up new construction work.

They are urgently seeking Intermediate and Senior Architects with excellent Revit skills who are able to produce high quality DD and CD sets. All of their Architects get involved at all stages from initial concept through to CA, but there is specific interest in candidates with strong production experience.

If you have 5-10 years experience and consider yourself a Revit expert then this firm is for you! If you have hotels project experience then that would be advantageous but not essential.
