Daniel Park Architect, PLLC is seeking an architect with 1-3 years of experience for immediate hire. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within a small firm and exposure to all aspect of architectural practice. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about design, creative, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to take on challenges in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Collaboration with principal to produce design presentations, construction drawings, and other project documents.
- Prepare architectural and millwork details for residential and small commercial projects.
- Assist with project management, construction administration, and office organization/productivity.
- Research and design related to prototype development of "experimental" and sustainable house projects.

Qualifications / requirements:

- 1-3 years of professional experience in all phases of design and construction documentation, preferably with high-end residential projects.
- Design oriented with an interest in how buildings and interiors are constructed and an appreciation of both modern and traditional design.
- Experience with highly detailed millwork and cabinetry is a plus.
- Experience in construction documents, detailing, digital modeling, rendering, and graphics. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, and well as experience with MS Office, Adobe CS. Proficiency in Mac platform including AutoCAD for Mac is preferred.
- Experience with 3D modeling and rendering (Rhino, V-Ray, Sketch-Up, & 3DS Max) and physical model building is big a plus.
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture.
- Proficiency in speaking, comprehension, and writing English.
- Currently live within commuting distance from Manhattan.
