31/12/2014We have an opportunity for a talented, recently qualified Architect to join the conservation team in BDP’s London studio, working on the creative adaptation of listed buildings and the design of new architecture in sensitive historic settings.
About you
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Architect with excellent communication and collaborative skills, and capable to taking responsibility for the design and delivery of high profile, user focused projects within the historic environment. You will have experience in the creative adaptation of a variety of significant historic buildings, encompassing a range of uses, together with developed conceptual and technical design skills relating to historic buildings and the design of new buildings in historic settings. Ideally you will also have formal training and professional qualifications in building conservation.
Technically, you will be proficient with CAD, preferably Microstation and/or BIM, software for visualisations and competent with the Microsoft Office suite.
