Position Description: Based in Brooklyn, NY Studio Tack seeks a mid-level Interior Designer who can take a project from concept though execution and who is comfortable working across multiple project types as either project manager, coordinator, and/or team member.

Responsibilities:

- Drive projects from concept through completion.
- Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors through all phases of a project.
- Source and select samples and products (e.g., colors, fittings, furniture, lighting, textiles, finishes).
- Prepare detailed design presentations.
- Prepare detailed working drawings, plans, models, and schemes.
- Supervise onsite work for compliance with design intent.
- Create and coordinate project schedules and organize tasks within a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications:

- Minimum four-year undergraduate degree. Masters degree in applicable design field preferred.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in interiors, architecture, and design.
- Excellent and demonstrable communications and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Ability to coordinate projects independently from concept design through construction. Supervision and coordination of project team. Clients interaction. Consultants coordination. Strong presentation skills a must. Knowledge of building codes and technical standards required. Good communication / people skills a plus. Familiarity with latest CAD, graphic and business software is required.

This position requires a minimum of an Architecture degree from an accredited college and 3 to 5 years of professional experience with a US Architecture office.
