Unique and exciting opportunity for a Senior Interior Designer to work in a collaborative growing regional office for an established international design firm. A rich and diverse opportunity to work on multiple market sectors, and projects ranging from small to large scale. Lead the Interior Design effort at all phases of the project from Marketing through Design, Documentation and Construction Administration.
Job responsibilities:
- Strategize and collaborate with Perkins Eastman Principals, Design teams and Owners, to create interior design solutions in multiple market sectors including but not limited to: Higher Education, K-12, Senior Living, Housing and Healthcare.
- Participate in and prepare for interviews and presentations.
- Develop creative solutions and lead design Charrettes.
- Lead and participate in construction documents development and production.
- Interior specification coordination.
- Coordinate all trades related to interior building design while monitoring drawings for technical accuracy.
- Mentor interior design staff.
- FF&E selection, specifications and procurement.
Key skills:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant Interiors project experience in some or all of the following: Higher Education, K-12, Senior Living, Housing and Healthcare practice areas.
- Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts to their team and clients.
- Strong communication skills and excellent graphic presentation skills.
- Experience detailing and preparing construction documentation.
- Experience with furniture selection and procurement.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Proficiency with Revit is required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3Ds Max, Sketch-up, InDesign and other related design software is a plus.
- Experience in public projects a plus.
- NCIDQ accreditation is required.
- LEED accreditation is a plus.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:
Essential:
- Excellent design skills.
- Minimum 2 years work experience on built projects.
- Experience of preparing planning applications in Germany (LPH 1-4).
- Good understanding of on-site construction, knowledge of procurement routes and ability to work well within a team.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
Preferable:
- Advanced knowledge of Microstation, Rhino, and Revit.
- The position is available immediately.
- The salary is negotiable based upon previous experience.
