Qualifications:

- Must have 2-4 years of professional experience in multi-family housing.
- Professional Degree (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of 3D and Presentation software including, but not limited to, Rhino, Sketch Up, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Construction documentation experience.
- Knowledge of building codes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- New York City experience preferred.

Mary Delaney Interior Design, located in Union Square, seeks an Interior Designer with 3 -5 years of experience working in an interior design or architectural office. Mary Delaney Interior Design is a small interior design practice specializing in the creation of bespoke, high-end residential interiors for prominent clients in the New York Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities:

- Creating plans, sections and interior elevations.
- Furniture, accessories, lighting and art sourcing.
- Materials research and specifications.
- Preparation of design presentations and proposals.
- Creation of detailed specifications for made-to-order furniture, lighting, textiles and finishes.
- Management of the procurement process from product research through order processing, tracking and installation.
- Preparation of finish, plumbing, hardware, lighting and appliance schedules.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Word, Excel.
- Free hand sketching a must.
- Excellence in organizational skills and attention to detail.
