French company HQ, Suresnes
HQ refurbishment: Design competition entry
With its riverfront setting, the refurbishment of a HQ for a leading French company provided an opportunity to enhance internal views and improve natural light.
The façade was designed to optimise daylight throughout the year as well as reducing solar glare and establishing an identity for the building.
A new light and airy atrium was created for the heart of the building which encourages staff to move around the space.
Then working within the original building structure, internal office space was designed in flexible modules to allow for different working practices.
