Located off the Fifth Ring Road in Beijing, Xihongmen Mixed-use Development consists of 150,000 square metres of retail, 180,000 square metres of office and 35,000 square metres of hotel spaces. The project is split into two plots and utilises a common language to unify the development. The design plays formally with north/south striated, geological forms which emerge out of the landscape to the south while maintaining a more defined urban edge in the north.
