The 49-story building represents the Pritzker winner's third attempt to build in La Défense after designs in 1989 and 2008 went unrealized owing to engineering difficulties and economic concerns. Now, with an approval behind them, the team at Ateliers Jean Nouvel has combined with developers Hines and AG Real Estate to plan 76,000 square meters of new office space that will allow nearly 5,800 workers flexibility and added green space.
